With the cold and cosy winter months approaching, it’s the perfect time of year to relive the magic of The Snowman & The Snowdog.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Snowman’s first ever broadcast, Arts University Bournemouth will be home to Reanimating the Snowman, a pop-up exhibition of never-before-seen archives of the beloved children’s classic.
Curated by Skwigly’s Steve Henderson, the exhibition explores the journey through animation with original artwork, cels and pre-production material from The Snowman and Lupus Films’ 2012 sequel The Snowman & The Snowdog. Reanimating the Snowman will run from 14th November 2016 until 14th January 2017.
During that time, Foyle’s bookshop will be holding a special children’s screening of The Snowman & The Snowdog at their flagship store in Charing Cross, London on Sunday 11th December 2016. With an afternoon of Christmas themed activities and workshops, we can’t think of a better way to get you and the little ones in the Christmas spirit.
