A Christmas Number One

Two worlds collide in this romantic comedy set between London and New York, mixing pop music and extreme metal. Meg, a New York music manager, escapes to London after a pop star makes an embarrassingly candid album about her. Tasked with reviving the boy band 5 Together by finding a Christmas hit, she discovers a song by ailing 13-year-old Nina. To re-record it, Meg faces competition from Nina's uncle Blake, a thrash metal bassist. Despite their differences, Meg and Blake fall for each other, with Nina’s wish for her uncle’s song to be a Christmas number one at the heart of it all.
