We’ve been beavering away to compile a series of 30 animated Random Acts for Channel 4.
It’s been great fun commisioning and curating all the films with the help of the vastly experienced Chris Shepherd, and we’ve been delighted to have the opportunity to work with some tremendous talent across the industry. From the bright sparks studying at Kingston University to the likes of David Shrigley, Emma Lazenby, The Brothers McCleod, Frank Eddie, Sandra Slater, Stephen Irwin, Milo Waterfield and Simon Swatman, not to mention the brilliant minds of the creative teams at 12foot6 and Animate Projects. Random Acts has allowed new filmmakers to break onto the scene, whilst keeping the older hands busy at what they do best!
Each film is up to 3 minutes long and they are generally transmitted at around 11pm each evening midweek on Channel 4. If that’s a bit late for you then fear not, the films are also available to catch-up online here: http://randomacts.channel4.com/
